I was just watching D&G's Spring/ Summer 2009 fashion show during the Milan Fashion Week and I must say I love it. The collection was pretty much dominated by blacks, white and navy blues with Madonna's Four Minutes pumping up the runway. Of course, it was no where near four minutes. The show started out with tailored suits, both in white and black as well as in between.

Another thing that was constant throughout the collection were the lining! Almost all of the outfits were lined in a different color or design. Also, the shirts worn were all pretty tailored and have little detailings to them which creates a very modern and clean look.

One of those detailings that I love are the different lapels for the buttons. The contrast between pattern and blocks and colors adds a little jazz to the shirts. Oh, did I mention the use of shinning satin! Quite sexy, I must say.

As much as I love all things shiny and glittering, I don't quite dig the super glittery jacket! I find it way too disco! The silver jacket is slightly more bearable but definitely not the bronze one!

The collection were getting a little bit monotonous half way through the show but before they lost me, they introduced patterns into the collection which I found quite refreshing. From jackets to shirts to pants, patterns were introduced everywhere.

Of course, its never D&G without the tight shorts! Haha! If only I was adventurous enough to wear them out. By the way, love the sandals! I am so saving up for those!

And of course, D&G will always have their sporty outfits every time they put on a show, so here they are.

And the show ended with the models walked out dressed in full white satin suits, complete with bow ties and those raybans! I am not throwing them away. Seems like we will be using them again next summer!
It seems that the model who was first discovered by the legendary Steven Miesel and was shot for a spread in Italian Vogue has been marketing himself. Yes, his move on being his own modelling agent sparked from his disatisfaction from his former agency. Like he said, "These days it seems that if you want something done right, it's best to do it yourself." And so he did.
He has modelled for many big names like Banana Republic, Sixt, ADD, Cesare Paciotti and graced the runways for Etro, Issey Miyake and Junya Watanabe just to name a few.

Great Britain are known for their effortless style and it shows in their uniform. Perfect for a walk at the English Countryside.
And my favourite uniform would be by the French. Yes, France's outfit is very unique and stylish! Kinda reminds me of DKNY's Spring/ Summer 08 collections where crisp shirts are paired with shorts and finished with an obi belt! Gorgeous!
I have to mention that the dresses worn by China's hostess during the victory ceremonies are quite beautiful too. The ivory or white silk qi pao with cloud designs in various color are very elegant. They also have it in like knee length dresses and full length ones. I saw them during the swimming victory ceremonies which have blue linings and the athletics victory ceremony which have green linings. If only I can get hold of pictures of it to show you guys!

DSquared2 came up with this tartan ankle boot. I love the color and all, im not so sure about the tartan. I think tartan is kinda like last year. The shoe looks very chunky and not to mention rebellious! Haha! I think i saw it in some fashion arcade game online! haha! Maybe, it will be nice for a punk concert!

However, they were spotted in Formentara, Spain together with Kate Moss, her mum and daughter over the weekend. So, we will just have to wait for the news!
